Mojisola Sonoiki

Mojisola Sonoiki is the Founder of the African Film & Arts Foundation and has over 20 years’ experience curating, programming, and consulting on various film festivals and cultural events around the world. Amongst other things, she is the founder of the WOCAF (Women of Color Arts & Film) Festival Atlanta, produced an award winning docu-interview series “Indigo Tongues” and produced/co-wrote a made for TV film “Mixed Feelings” for Ebony Life TV in Nigeria (2015).  Ms Sonoiki also co-produced and co-hosted 13 episodes of a podcast called “Not just Nollywood” which shared perspectives on African Cinema, Music, Entertainment and Art.

Bolaji Dawodu is the CEO of World Audience Promotions, managers of some of the biggest musical acts out of Africa including the King of Juju Music, King Sunny Ade. A seasoned financial management professional and an attorney, Mr Dawodu, has over 30 years’ experience in the business of entertainment, locally and internationally.

Osei Kweku​

Osei Kweku is an international on-air talent at the number one radio station in Atlanta, Georgia v103. Osei Kweku is also the creator of V103 international-the only station in the United States that has an active partnership with other radio stations in Africa – with a hyper focus in Nigeria; The Beat 99.9 – as well as the UK. Osei is also credited for the ground breaking of the modern day Afrobeat State side, particularly in Atlanta,GA on traditional radio since 2005

Lanre “eLDee” Dabiri is a former Nigerian-American rapper, singer, and record producer, now an IT Consultant based in the United States. Terri J. Vaughn

Terri J. Vaughn has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry.  She exploded on the scene with her lovable and memorable character Lovita Alize’ Jenkins, on The Steve Harvey Show.She went on to star on several series such as All of Us, Soul Food, Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns, Greenleaf and most recently Insecure.  Terri is co-owner of the Atlanta based film and television production company, Nina Holiday Entertainment. She has produced and/or directed several projects for Viacom TVOne, BET and MarVista and has been honored with three NAACP Image Awards. 

Robert O. Peters

Robert O. Peters is an award winning Director/DP and founder of Whitestone Pictures, mother company to Whitestone Filmworks an award-winning film company Located in Suwanee, Georgia. He is best known for directing the 2014 Nollywood breakout movie 30 Days in Atlanta, as well as the movies Shades of Attractions, Boxing Day and A trip to Jamaica. 30 Days in Atlanta was the highest-grossing film of all time at the Nigerian box office. The movie was also featured in the 2017 Guinness Book of Records as one of the films with the highest domestic gross in the territories of Bollywood, Nollywood and Hollywood, listed alongside PK (from Bollywood) and Star Wars: The Force Awakens (from Hollywood).

Muyiwa Onitilo

Moses Onitilo is a 20+ yrs. IT veteran with a background in ITSM, ITIL, Digital Transformation, AI, Blockchain, Encryption, Security, Process transformation, IT Strategy, Governance, Enterprise Management and Emerging technologies. He is currently Founder / CTO Jamborow LTD – (Africa’s first intelligent B2B AI and Blockchain Financial Inclusion FinTech platform) and Deep Learning Science LTD – (A Digital Transformation and Software Development outsourcing firm). Also, former Founder and Managing partner at Principle Technologies, LLC, an 18yrs Digital Transformation and ITSM consulting company in USA, with Fortune 500 and European clients.

Kunle Afolayan

Kunle Afolayan is one of Africa’s foremost filmmakers. A multi-award-winning actor, producer, and director, his works transcends geographical boundaries, raising the bar on African cinema. In his commitment to self-improvement and professional excellence, Kunle enrolled at the New York Film Academy in 2005, and began production on his first full-length movie; Irapada shortly after.  Through his production outfit (Golden Effects Pictures and KAP Motion Pictures) Kunle has gone to produce successful and widely acclaimed feature films, namely The Figurine: Araromire, Phone Swap, October 1, the chart-topping blockbuster film; The C.E.O, Mokalik, and Netflix originals; Citation and A Naija Christmas. 

Richard Dunn

Richard Dunn is VP of Business Development for The Atlanta Voice – the largest audited African American community newspaper in Georgia. He is an Atlanta native, serial entrepreneur, and driver of Atlanta’s arts & culture scene.

Dr. Jude G. Akudinobi

 Dr. Jude G. Akudinobi earned his PhD in Cinema-Television from the University of Southern California and teaches in the Department of Black Studies, at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Dr. Akudinobi’s, research interests span the complexities of cultural politics, postcolonial literatures, African diasporas, arts, popular cultures, media and cinemas. 

Elijah Adefope

Elijah Adefope is a licensed attorney in the State of Georgia. He practices, primarily in the areas of Corporate, Media, Entertainment, and Technology Law. He is a member of ‘Georgia Lawyers for the Arts’ where he was awarded ‘Attorney of the Year, 2018’. He is the Author of two books on the sports and media/entertainment industries. She teaches courses in urban history, the history of childhood and youth in Africa, and the study of women, gender, and sexuality in African History. Her book, Making Modern Girls: A History of Girlhood, Labor, and Social Development was published in 2014 by Ohio University Press and received the Aidoo-Snyder Book Prize in 2015 from the Women’s Caucus of the African Studies Association, as well as Honorable Mention from the New York African Studies Association. She is currently at work on The Ekopolitan Project, a digital forum dedicated to historical research on migrant communities in nineteenth- and twentieth century Lagos, West Africa. https://ekopolitanproject.org/

Susan J. “Sue” Ross
