Introducing some of the African Film Festival Atla Introducing some of the African Film Festival Atlanta's film selection committee! 🎥🌍 Nwakaego (Ego) Boyo @officialegoboyo is a Nigerian actress, producer, executive producer and creative entrepreneur, based in Lagos, who is popular for her role as Anne Haatrope in the early 90s soap, Checkmate. She is the founder and Managing Director of Temple Productions producers of award winning films The Ghost and the House of Truth and A Hotel Called Memory. Monique McGlockton is a filmmaker and writer based in Atlanta, GA. Her feature film documentary, DUNDU DOLE' won a Fan Favorite Award at The Urban Media Makers Film Festival, the story of a West African Dance Company in Clearwater, Florida. She has worked in the entertainment industry for many years including working with independent producers and managers on development projects for film and television. Gladys Edeh, @gladysgedeh is a Nigerian-American, award winning film director and producer based in Atlanta, Georgia. Her films & documentaries include But Mamah, Who is , a docu series which she produced, shoot & edited and Mr. Gele: The Man. The Story. The Craft, a documentary featuring famed Nigerian Gele artist, Segun Gele. Mr Gele enjoyed a successful film festival run in 2018 and became an official selection at over 18 film festivals including the BronzeLens Film Festival, Atlanta and the African New York Film Festival, just to name a few. She currently works as an Assistant Editor at Revolt TV, a full-service multimedia production company and digital cable television network founded by Sean "Diddy" Combs.
